Description Roman Friesen 2009-09-19 11:05:12 UTC
The bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/432559

"There is not an obvious way to close the nautilus search, see "nautilus_search_current.png".

The "Back" button is not a best choice here, because instinctively peoplelook for a "close" possibility, something like "nautilus_search_proposal.png" or "nautilus_search_proposal2.png".
Or probably the best solution would be just to open search results in a new tab :)"

This problem has been fixed in the development version -- a toggle button is available in the main toolbar. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
