GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 59520
panel crash/sawfish weirdness
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: gnome-core Severity: normal Version: 1.4.0.4 Synopsis: panel crash/safsish weirdness Bugzilla-Product: gnome-core Bugzilla-Component: panel Description: I use sawfish as my window manager, but it was acting a little weird. I couldn't middle-click on the desktop, or right-click on a window title bar. So I thought I'd restart sawfish. I went to the control panel, but there wasn't an option to restart the current window manager. Strangely enough, my current window manager was listed as enlightenment. I chose sawfish from the list, and hit ok, then all my windows were displayed in quick succession (with no decorations, so I assume sawfish was killed and restarting), then the panel crashed. Debugging Information: 0x4056f3f9 in __wait4 () from /lib/libc.so.6
