Description David Ronis 2009-09-08 17:53:54 UTC
I'm in calendar UI where I have several local calendars, one web based one, and Birthdays & Anniversaries. I'm trying to create a new appointment (in my work calendar, which is local. In fact, it is the last of the local calendars and is followed by the web one in the list).

In any event, clicking new gives a popup saying 'can't create new event' because 1. The web based calendar is not writable, or 2. Birthdays & Anniversaries is not writable.

I've played around with taking these off-line, and this works if I create the event while they are offline.

I'm running the git master, last built on Friday of last week.

for evolution;

This is for calendar only. Tasks and Memos are not here, because related parts got dropped.

Committed a variation of this in:
http://git.gnome.org/cgit/evolution/commit/?id=5999e07ac4d7ce14c62173ea6e80efe3a08426cb

Seems to work okay. Reopen if you still encounter problems.
