GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 594120
Switching second audio track gives silence
Last modified: 2009-09-09 13:22:58 UTC
Created attachment 142463 [details] Log of opening the video and switch the audio track I open with TOTEM a video with two audio tracks (Spanish and English), and starts well playing the first audio track (Spanish). When I switch to the second track (English) I get silence after a few seconds. I have run: GST_DEBUG_NO_COLOR=1 GST_DEBUG=*:2 totem Perdidos\ 5x02\ La\ mentira\ \[Dvbrip\]\[Spanish-English\]\[by\ jesuscas\]\[TusSeries-MisteryRip\].avi 2> dubbing.log as explained. Please, tell what info you need to try to solve that. Thanks.
Which versions of totem, gstreamer, gst-plugins-base and gst-plugins-good are you using?
In an updated Fedora 11: totem-2.26.3-3 gstreamer-0.10.24-1 gstreamer-plugins-base-0.10.24-1 gstreamer-plugins-good-0.10.15-4
Ok, that's a known limitation of playbin(1) and will be fixed by using totem 2.27.1 or newer. And by using anything else that uses playbin2 ;)
