Description qqqqqqqqq9 2009-09-03 10:12:18 UTC
Hi,
Gnumeric uses some F-Key-Shortcuts. F-keys are however often used for global shortcuts, i for example use the keys F1-F12 for the switching of workspaces.
I think it would be a good idea to bind those functions to an additional key.
Thanks.

Which shortcuts did you have in mind?
Instead of F11 (for full screen) you can type alt-v,u.
Comment 2 qqqqqqqqq9 2009-09-03 14:36:49 UTC
Especially the shortcut F2 for editing the current field. If i missed something i apologize.
Comment 3 Morten Welinder 2009-09-03 15:26:00 UTC
Clicking on the edit line will work instead of F2.
Comment 4 qqqqqqqqq9 2009-09-03 15:36:11 UTC
Well,
yes i know that. but having to use the mouse is a poor replacement for a shortcut.

I have created a bug #699737 report to collect all the "please provide a
keyboard shortcut for my favourite command" enhancement requests.

They could all be simultaneously solved by having editable short cuts.
