Description David Ronis 2009-08-31 16:27:39 UTC
I just tried printing a message. Half of it was plain text the other html; i.e.,

--------------Boundary-00=_EUO7GR72Q7BNTT4D7TH0
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8

Fya

----------Original Message----------

Forwarded mesage

--------------Boundary-00=_EUO7GR72Q7BNTT4D7TH0
Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1
Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

<div>hi </div>
<div>=A0</div>
<div>More stuff;.</div>

<div>=A0</div>
<div></div>

--------------Boundary-00=_EUO7GR72Q7BNTT4D7TH0--

I get a "formatting message..." notice in the notification area, but nothing happens.

Attaching gdb to evolution gives the following backtrace:
0xb613801d in poll () from /lib/libc.so.6
(gdb) thread apply all bt full

Oh, it's waiting on EBook actually, with a contact photo :(
Comment 2 Matthew Barnes 2009-08-31 17:27:12 UTC
Not kill-bonobo related.  Removing tags.
Comment 3 David Ronis 2009-08-31 17:35:08 UTC
I just tried to exit evolution (same session as generated the bug report). It main UI greyed out, and I saw "saving ..." in the notificiation area. After a second or so I got 2 print popups and was able to print. Sounds like this is a thread deadlock problem...
Comment 4 Milan Crha 2009-08-31 17:47:20 UTC
Yeah, exactly, it's just stuck waiting on the address book. It prints for me, as I do not have "Show senders photo" set and my "load images" is _not_ set to "if in my contacts". So it's not a printing, but the "formatting message stuck" bug. I'm marking as a duplicate of it. I'm sorry for confusion.
