Description Philip Van Hoof 2009-08-13 12:46:34 UTC
You know when a team member tells you that in file_x.c at line 570 we have this or that? Or when gdb tells you that something crashed at file_x.c:680?

Well, in Anjuta that means that i have to find file_x.c in the Files or the Project view first. That's cumbersome.

A feature that would open a window with one textbox where I can type in:

file_x.c:570

And that would open the damn file at line 570.

That would be very useful in many situations ;-)

It's of course possible that two directories have the same file_x.c filename. In that case the feature is of course less simple, and it'll have to ask me which of the two (or more) files it has to open .. or something.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all
old feature requests in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you are still requesting this feature in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/anjuta/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be implemented.
