Description Fabian Greffrath 2009-07-30 11:18:08 UTC
Hi,

I get regularly confused by the meaning of "Zoom", "Scaled" and "Fill screen" in the Style choose-box in the Backgruond tab of gnome-appearance-properties. I would appreciate if some hints would be given somehow (maybe in small font size printed next to the Style choose-box) on what the particular choices mean, e.g.

Zoom (Resize the image until it fills the screen)
Scaled (Resize the image until it fits the screen resolution in at least one dimension)
Fit screen (Resize and deform the image to fill the screen in both dimensions)

Thanks!
