GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 589866
evolution IMAP ignores additional namespaces
Last modified: 2009-07-27 13:25:23 UTC
Please describe the problem: This post says it all: http://www.mail-archive.com/evolution-list@gnome.org/msg06856.html My mail server is setup like this: INBOX +--fruits +--veggies +--meats cheese +--swiss +--cheddar pizza +--buffalowing +--taco INBOX is the defaul mailbox namespace, So I can only get access to INBOX via Evolution. I've fiddled with "Override server-supplied folder namespace" in "Receiving Options" and left Namespace: or with a variety of different options, but Evolution can never seem to see my cheese and pizza boxes. I'm using IMAP for the server type. Thunderbird works fine, outlook works fine. Evolution just doesn't notice. I'm using Citadel imap server. Steps to reproduce: Create an IMAP account on a citadel server with multiple folder namespaces Actual results: You only see folders below inbox Expected results: I expect (like thunderbird) to see all the other folders in the other namespaces Does this happen every time? yes Other information: All add a CAMEL log which shows the server reporting the namespaces.
Created attachment 139278 [details] CAMEL_DEBUG=all evolution >& evo.log Camel debug output from account at uncensored.citadel.org You can make your own test account there; http://uncensored.citadel.org
