I would guess this was fixed here: 2009-06-22 Andreas J. Guelzow <aguelzow@pyrshep.ca> * src/print-info.c (gnm_page_breaks_clean): we can't and don't need to clean a non-existing breaks array. What version of gnumeric are you using?
What version of gnumeric are you using? And would you please try it with the same file on both your and your wife's account?
It's 1.9.9 on an actual Debian/testing. It happens even on an blank sheet and also with a real. Tested both at both accounts.
This should be 586672. Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version.
