Description mourik jan 2009-07-25 21:47:15 UTC
I have a working pptp vpn connection, and want to export it to a file. Selecting that option in the gui gives me a dialogue where to save it, and under what filename. When I leave defauls and click 'Save', I get:

"Cannot export VPN connection

The VPN connection xxx could not be exported to xxx.conf

Error: Unknown error"

If I don't accept the defaults, and change the filename and path, I still get the same error.

This is on ubuntu 9.04, X64, fully patched, NetworkManager version 0.7.1~rc4.1.cf.199a964-0ubuntu2 (jaunty)

Let me know if you need more info, or want me to try something that might help you to track this down.

Yeah, the pptp vpn plugin simply doesn't support import/export right now.
