GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 589177
New terminals spawn with unexpected paths
Last modified: 2009-07-24 22:18:24 UTC
Please describe the problem: When launching a new terminal, whilst running a 'find' command, the new terminal spawns with the starting path of whatever the find command is currently trawling... Steps to reproduce: 1. Open GNOME terminal. 2. Type find . -name "*.foo" 3. While it is searching, press control + shift + N Actual results: the new terminal will have a strange path when it spawns. Expected results: it should have the path i was in when i spawned it, for example ~ Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
