Sorry, I'm having a hard time reproducing this. I'm using 1.5.0 on Ubuntu 9.04 from the unstable PPA (https://launchpad.net/~banshee-unstable-team/+archive/ppa), so you may want to try that.

Just to be sure, you have the Notification Area Icon extension turned on? You're closing Banshee by pressing the X in the corner? Closing Banshee in "full mode" still works as expected (closes to the tray, but doesn't quit)?
Comment 2 Myke Smith 2009-07-19 16:41:54 UTC
Sorry about that - should have provided more info. Can you tell I'm new at this? :-)

1. Notification Area Icon is turned on
2. I am closing Banshee using the close(X) button
3. Full mode still works as expected

I wasn't sure if this was a real bug or not since it wasn't making any error messages or leaving anything in the log.

I'll try 1.5.0 as you suggested. Thanks.
Comment 3 Myke Smith 2009-07-19 16:58:53 UTC
Ah, 1.5.0 works correctly. Thanks for the tip. Should this bug be considered resolved?
