Description freggy1 2009-07-06 19:13:30 UTC
When you open http://stubru.be/ in Epiphany 2.27.3 using Webkigtk 1.1.10, only garbage is displayed. It seems like this site might be wrongly gzipping the content twice, and webkit breaks on that (IIRC this can happen if you have Apache's mod_deflate active and then in the CMS (Drupal in this case) you also enable compression). Firefox nor Opera have any problem displaying this site.

Confirmed.
Comment 2 Dan Winship 2009-07-07 12:50:26 UTC
er, no, http://stubru.be/ is only gzipping once, it's just that epiphany is unzipping it 0 times.

And, of course, the web site is also not respecting the Accept-Encoding header =(.
