Comment 1 Braden 2009-07-03 05:30:04 UTC
Normally when I get this error, Evolution will not show me the folder contents. If I shut down and restart Evolution, I'm able to see the folder contents until I select a different folder. At that point, each message appears in the folder twice. This is reminiscent of the duplicate behavior I observed in bug 561369.
Comment 2 Braden 2009-07-03 05:32:24 UTC
Note that it appears that there are not actually two copies of the messages; rather, they just *appear* twice. For instance, if I delete one of the duplicated entries, they both appear deleted.

Similar downstream bug report from 2.91.6:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=681051

Thanks for a bug report. It seems to me like a broken folders.db file, which
might happen after some crash. I would try to move elsewhere file
   ~/.local/share/evolution/mail/local/folders.db
(while evolution is not running), and let evolution recreate it the next start.
Please do not delete the file, only move it elsewhere, thus if something will
go wrong then you might be able to return it back.

Can you please check again whether this issue still happens in Evolution 3.0.3 or 3.2.0 and update this report by adding a comment and changing the "Version"
field? Thanks a lot.
Comment 5 Akhil Laddha 2011-11-24 06:53:22 UTC
Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer
version of Evolution.
