Description David Prieto 2009-06-20 07:52:32 UTC
When I open a conversation with a contact, for some time it appears as if it were a chat - that is, with a contact pane to the right.

I'm attaching a screenshot where I opened a conversation with a gmail contact.

Are we sure it is a dup? David: are you using MSN (that is telepathy-butterfly) to chat with these contacts?

The emails displayed in your screenshot seems to imply that you are using Gtalk. Code was merged in the last days allow one to hide the contact list in MUCs, it might have broken something.

Hi Pierre,

That particular conversation was through MSN, even if the contact has a gmail address.
