Please describe the problem:
Nautilus fails to create thumbnails for the PDF downloaded from Internet.

Steps to reproduce:
Test Case 1
---------------
1. Select a PDF to download from internet in firefox
2. Save the file to desktop
3. Nautilus desktop fails to create a thumbnail even after you open of PDF with a document viewer

Test Case 2
----------------
1. Select a PDF on the desktop, right click and select copy
2. Right click on empty desktop area and select pase

Nautilus now creates the thumbnail properly.

Does not happen here.
Provide exact steps and the exact PDF please, as written by Fabio.

Also, Version 2.6 is ancient history. I hope you meant 2.26.
