Please describe the problem:
Creating new profile results in greyed out preferences on first view.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to Edit --> Profiles
2. Click on 'New'
3. Name the profile anything, base it on any existing profile and click on 'Create'


Actual results:
The resulting preferences window is greyed out and no options can be changed.

Expected results:
I should be able to edit the preferences.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
Workaround: Close initial preferences box, and open a new preferences box by clicking on 'Edit'
