GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 584364
automatic links not created for multiple words
Last modified: 2010-09-18 19:18:35 UTC
When typing, if a word matches the title of a note which has only one word, a link will be created. However, if I have a note that is called "foo bar" and I type "foo bar" somewhere in another note, no link will be created. Tomboy does this, it's a neat feature. Didn't see it in the bug list here, so here we go.
Hopefully, implementing this shouldn't result in a perf nightmare like bug #375687 ;) that's something that Tomboy still suffers from to this day, and that gnote (to my great delight) doesn't seem to have.
Actually it works with one caveat: as soon as I press <SPACE> is disable the link. *sigh*
Yes, the links are there when you first start it, but you'll never get them back again... I just installed Gnote on Ubuntu (9.04) and the Swedish translation has lots of errors in formating and this linking thing was most obvious.
This works for me using most recent version from git. Could you try re-checking this with it?

I'm closing this, as it work for me with git master. Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer version of Gnote.
