Description Markus Baertschi 2009-05-21 22:22:59 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Importing a mt940 file does not import all records describing the transaction in the :NS: field.

My Bank supplies a MT940 file where each transaction has a 16 line :NS: field (lines 02 to 27). The Gnucash mt940 import imports the contents up to field number 14, but drops the rest.

Unfortunately in many transactions the relevant information is in field 17.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Import the sample mt940 file
2. Verify that the contents of the line 17 of the :NS: field is missing

Actual results:
All contents beyond line 14 is lost

Expected results:
All contents show up in the transaction description

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Other information:
I did not test with the 2.3.x series and I'm on Windows and no binaries are provided.

Moving, because MT940 import is done by AqBanking.
