It would be good if ldtp2 could have a function to check if gnome's accessibility layer is running. Also any method of ldtp2 should raise an error if this layer is not running, instead of just reporting that components/objects are not found.

LDTP has moved to Github. If the problem reported in this GNOME Bugzilla ticket still exists in a recent LDTP version, please feel free to report the issue at
