GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 580483
Drawer appears in the wrong corner
Last modified: 2009-07-08 10:57:39 UTC
Please describe the problem: This is originally a bug from Lauchpad, posted by me. Someone told me to send it on to this place so here goes (copy-pasted from launchpad) "I have a drawer with a width of 32 pixels on a panel in the bottom right hand corner (however, this occurs wherever I place the drawer so location is of no importance). When I click the drawer first time, it appears where it's supposed to, above the drawer, however, when I click the drawer a second time, it appears in the upper left hand corner, and continue to do so no matter how many times I click the drawer. If I restart the panel, the drawer resets it's location for one click but then continues to be in the upper left hand corner. My computer is an eee 901 and I use jaunty jackalope" (Ubuntu 9.04) This is my original bug report https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/364559 Steps to reproduce: 1. Get an Eee 901 (because the problem has yet to occur on any of the other two Ubuntu 9.04 computers in the house 2. Install Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope (9.04) 3. Add a drawer to a panel and click it twice Actual results: The Drawer ends up in the wrong corner and not above the drawer icon as it should Expected results: Well... that the drawer ends up above the drawer icon. Does this happen every time? yep! Other information: Well... I have two screenshots One where things are normal (1st click) http://launchpadlibrarian.net/25874533/Screenshot1.png and one where things go wrong (2nd 3rd and so on) http://launchpadlibrarian.net/25874554/Screenshot2.png
