Please describe the problem:
Im trying to run it on slackware 12.2.

trying a ./configre I get the following error:

checking for gstreamer-0.8 >= 0.7.1... checking for gstreamer-0.7 >= 0.7.1... configure: error: No GStreamer development libraries found 

I have gstreamer-0.10 installed and libraries are all here!

So what's wrong??? Can't find any solution for this.

gstreamer-0.8 series != gstreamer-0.10 series

the cvs repository has a never released port of gst-editor to gstreamer-0.10 API
