Description Sebastien Bacher 2009-04-22 15:18:07 UTC
the bug has been opened on https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/299039

"There are no items in 'File' menu after opening a file or a number of files with large name or path. It is better to implement crop of names in this menu; something like 'A very large file_na...'.
Screenshot is attached.

The empty menu issue seems fixed but using ellipsizing would still be nicer

This has long since been fixed.
