Last modified: 2009-06-15 02:11:49 UTC
Some companies email you their email news using embedded links for their pictured email to be retrieve but Evolution is not retrieving them. THis is happening with different businesses. THis us to work just fine a couple of version ago it has been a regression since Other information:
Version 2.2 is ancient history. Please correct your version information. Also make sure to check your preferences. Does "View > Load Images" work?

Sorry version 2.26.1 I also have Mail preferences selected show image animation Always load image from Internet Just in case I even try the view load image when the email message is highlighted in evolution status bar show Retrieving the links and 0% completed but nothing happens
By the way this is happening on a fresh install of Jaunty it was the same way on Intrepid and this is also happening on 4 different PC/Laptop with fresh install. If anyone is interested I could forward a copy of this email on your private machine for confirmation.
I can't see the pictures in Evolution 2.26.0, either. This is a real bug and needs to be fixed.
Created attachment 134001 [details] [review] If no proxy is used, url->path should be used directly After reviewing the code, according to the previous line of sending http request (dprintf line), I know url->path should be used.
In fact, not all pictures can't be shown. In one message embedded with 4 or 5 images, perhaps only 1 or 2 images are not shown.
