Description Hernando Torque 2009-03-29 00:57:44 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Flip operations seem to work when in eog but when saving the flipped JPEG (of certain resolution) it gets shifted/distorted. You do not see the problem before saving!

It doesn't happen with JPEGs with resolutions that are multiples of 16 and I've confirmed it doesn't happen with PNGs either. When repeating the flips the shifting goes away.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open this image: http://img.xrmb2.net/images/146377.jpeg
2. Flip it horizontally or vertically (or both) - it should look fine in eog.
3. Save the image. It now should look like this (did both flips): http://img.xrmb2.net/images/885267.jpeg

Actual results:

Expected results:
If this happens because of resolution constraints I'd expect to get a warning before ruining my images.

Does this happen every time?
