GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 576912
Highlights me in 1-1 conversations for no reason.
Last modified: 2012-01-25 16:18:35 UTC
My first name (and, thus, alias) is an English word. It turns out that highlighting the word "Will" in 1-1 conversations doesn't actually buy me much (if the other person is talking, they're talking to me) and is actively annoying (why was the other person's name red on those three lines and not those?). (Obviously highlighting lines containing my alias in multi-user conversations is useful, and the namespace collision can't be helped in the general case.)
I've not been able to reproduce using current master. Can you retry please?
Created attachment 136330 [details] Screenshot Nope, this still occurs with current master.
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
