Description Joerg Sonnenberger 2009-03-23 19:43:04 UTC
Please describe the problem:
libsoup needs to handle unroutable address and switch to other RRs. If the default resolver address is an AAAA record and the system is not configured for IPv6 routing, it doesn't fallback to the A record.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Install midori / webkit-gtk / libsoup
2. Open www.netbsd.org

Actual results:
An INET6 socket is opened and the connect(2) fails with EHOSTUNREACH.

Expected results:
Another attempt using the INET4 address should be made

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
