Description Matthias Clasen 2009-03-23 15:58:54 UTC
the lock/unlock buttons only work on the encrypted partition, not on the child partition that I get when unlocking. I think that is _slightly_ confusing, since the child partition is described as "Unlocked Encrypted LUKS Volume", and I would expect that I can lock something again that is described as "unlocked".
Comment 1 David Zeuthen (not reading bugmail) 2009-03-23 23:57:47 UTC
Maybe we should call it "Cleartext LUKS volume" instead... that, however, would add more technical jargon into the mix.
Comment 2 Matthias Clasen 2009-03-24 00:23:22 UTC
While we are talking about terminology, I also find the mixed use of partition vs. volume slightly confusing. Is there a rationale for that ?
Comment 3 David Zeuthen (not reading bugmail) 2009-03-31 21:27:33 UTC
OK, renamed to "Cleartext LUKS Device".
