GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 576276
contextual toolbar buttons should be insensitive when not available
Last modified: 2009-06-12 09:13:51 UTC
Some toolbar buttons, such as (un)link, (un)group and delete can only be used when a clip is selected. When no clip is selected, those buttons should be made gtk.insensitive. Likewise, the main toolbar's Save button should be made insensitive when no changes have been made since the last save, and the Render button should be insensitive when there is nothing on the timeline (but that one is less important).
The (un)link and delete actions already behave this way in git. For save, it will have to wait until we have a proper history manager as there is no way to detect whether or not a file is dirty.
