Description jarlathreidy 2009-03-18 05:57:00 UTC
The icon that appears in the system tray on launching Rhythmbox should be optional, via a plug-in as it is in breach of the Gnome HIG. This is the current implementation:
http://library.gnome.org/users/rhythmbox/unstable/notification.html.en

And this is the Gnome HIG Spec:
http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/desktop-notification-area.html.en
