Description Erik 2009-03-11 10:35:05 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Because Evolution does not send the font face in the HTML email, recipients do not see the same email we wrote in the composer. I send an email to myself in the Evolution composer and specify the Liberation, or non-free Arial font for example (in Ev prefs) - but when I open the email in my Outlook client, it does not recognise the font and uses the Windows system default (Times).

This makes email signatures look ugly and destroys HTML formatting in the current message and any threads below. Mixed fonts is a clear wishlist item - but not being able to specify a single font at all I feel is a bug as it makes evolution non-WYSIWYG, and non-compatible with other popular mail clients.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Send an HTML email to an Outlook recipient
2. Open the email in outlook

Actual results:
The email does not appear in the same way it was composed

Expected results:
Fonts should be the same in the composer and the recipients viewer

Does this happen every time?
Every time.
