Description Storm Dragon 2009-03-03 22:30:40 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When using some programs in terminal with lots of scrolling text, tintin++ for example, Orca will most of the time leave off the first letter when reading a line of text. This also happens in gnome-mud, but is mostly in terminal programs. As an example, if it were reading the line:
this is a line of text.
Orca will read it as:
his is a line of text

Steps to reproduce:
1. open terminal
2. open a terminal program with lots of text that scrolls, like a terminal based game
3. do something to cause the text to scroll

Actual results:
Orca will read the text but in most cases leave off the first letter of each line, especially on the line where speech starts.

Expected results:
Orca reads the text without leaving off the first letter.

Does this happen every time?
almost every time like 95%
