Description Philip Van Hoof 2009-01-05 23:37:31 UTC
Unbelievable .. you guys put so much effort into make a nice new symbol database infrastructure, and then you disable the symbol browser by default.

But .. why?!

Turn it on, by default. It's great, every developer uses it!

You have no idea how often we make new projects, import, re-import, restart a project. And each time I have to go after each of those really badly chosen defaults and switch them back on. Insanity! :)
Comment 1 Johannes Schmid 2009-01-06 00:10:05 UTC
Just to make it clear. Symbol-db doesn't seem to be in the default layout. That should be easy to fix.
Comment 2 Massimo Cora' 2009-01-06 00:15:11 UTC
naba put it default on layout.xml some days ago.
http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/anjuta/trunk/src/layout.xml?r1=4423&r2=4521

there's maybe some misconfiguration into
/usr/project/.anjuta/session/dock-layout.xml

I won't consider this a bug.
Comment 3 Massimo Cora' 2009-01-06 11:07:10 UTC
View -> Reset dock layout should fix the thing, close and reopen Anjuta.
Please let me know if this works for you.

I think Bug #566801 is a duplicate and the reason why my Symbol browser disappeared yesterday.
