Description van.de.bugger 2008-12-25 23:06:45 UTC
Please describe the problem:
f-spot allows creating tag which name contain comma. At the same time, comma is used as tags delimiter in tags field (at the bottom of the f-spot window). It leads to the problem.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a tag with name "a, b".
2. Attach tag to an image.
3. Click on the image.
4. Press "t" to see and edit tag entry field, press enter.

Actual results:
Here you are: two new tags are created: "a" and "b".

Expected results:
I would expect f-spot does not allow to create tags with space or handles it gracefully, for example, it can enclose tag with commas (or other non-letter symbols) in quotes, or use escape characters. I am not sure what it the best approach, but I faced this problem when I created tag for a person, like "Doe, John".

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Sorry, too many typos in my report. I mean f-spot does not allow to create a tag with comma (not space) in the name. I think you get the problem.
