GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 564969
Evolution/Google Calendar sync does not sync the "all day" event property
Last modified: 2009-05-18 05:06:28 UTC
Please describe the problem: When creating "all day" events in Google Calendar via Evolution, the event is created as a regular event that just lasts 24 hours, as opposed to a proper "all day" event. Steps to reproduce: 1. Set up a "Google" type calendar in Evolution. 2. Create an all day event in it. 3. Log in to Google Calendar's web UI and look at the event. Actual results: 3. The event is a regular event that lasts 24 hours. Expected results: 3. The event should be a special "all day"-type event, just as if the user had created an all day even through the Google Calendar web UI. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information: Note that for me the event does not quite start at 12 AM due to bug 559744.
Whoops, I meant bug 558661.
I can confirm this bug. I've got the same problem. Best Regards.
Me too, with Evo V 2.24.3
"all day" events doesn't work properly also in the opposite way: if you create a "all day" event in google calendar via the web interface, then Evolution is not able to sync this event and you will not see it in Evolution
I'm sry to say, but after installing the jaunty beta today I'm not able to add any Google Calendar !! It's V 2.26
