Description Matt McCutchen 2008-12-18 03:44:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If no search folders exist when I start Evolution, any search folders I create during that session do not appear in the folder tree at the left of the Mail window until I restart Evolution. It does not matter whether I create the folders by right-clicking in the folder tree -> "New Folder" or via "Edit" -> "Search Folders".

If at least one search folder exists when Evolution starts, the problem does not occur during that session even if I remove all the search folders and then start creating new ones.

I'm using the latest code from the 2.24 branch.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run Evolution in a new user account and complete the email setup wizard.
2. Create one or more search folders using the "Edit" -> "Search Folders" dialog.

Actual results:
The search folders do not appear in the tree until I restart Evolution.

Expected results:
The search folders appear in the tree when I press OK in the dialog, or sooner.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.
