GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 564636
Incorrect header information shown in message list
Last modified: 2009-01-22 23:30:19 UTC
Please describe the problem: I received a new email in my Inbox and instead of the correct header information (sender, subject, date, etc) showing up in the message list, the header information displayed is copied from an existing, unrelated message. Attached is a screenshot showing the problem. Steps to reproduce: Unknown. I don't know how to duplicate the bug, since it occurred without user interaction. Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? No, this is the first I've encountered this. Other information: I am using the IMAP protocol and am copying folder contents locally for offline operations. I am running a fresh install of Ubuntu Linux, 8.10, with the latest updates. I used the backup and restore settings to migrate my email boxes and settings to this fresh install several months ago.
Created attachment 124748 [details] Screenshot showing header discrepancy Notice that the header information (subject, sender, date) are different in the message list and the message summary panes. The information in the message list is a duplicate of the email just below it.
