Description Simone Tolotti 2008-12-10 16:31:06 UTC
It could be useful to merge obex-server funcions/preferences with bluetooth-applet/properties.
It could be done by adding "Enable files reception" option to bluetooth-properties.
Actually I have to use bluetooth-applet to explore a BT device and gnome-obex-server to receive files, so I have two tray icons.
A workaround could be to run gnome-obex-server without tray icon, but I haven't found a --no-icon switch.

File reception in bluez-applet has been replaced by gnome-user-share which already implemented, and so now gnome-obex-server is deprecated.

Thanks

Regards.

sorry for the totally non-sense sentence,

"gnome-obex-server has been deprecated, and bluez-gnome won't implement file reception, please gnome-user-share from now."

/me should get some sleep
