Description Lionel Dricot 2008-12-05 19:21:31 UTC
Currently, it looks like the cache is a fixed value of 2kb : playing a youtube video when the connection is busy is "1 second of play, 10 second of caching"

1) The download to the cache should continue when you pause. Currently, there's no way to fill the cache when you have a bad connection

2) The percentage in the progress bar when caching should be relative to the whole lenght of the movie (or the size). What is that ? I see "100% completed" and it stops to redownload after 1 second of playing !!

Maybe the cache should not take into account the the connection capacity. Instead, it should learn from its last downloaded packet. But I don't know the current implementation
