GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 562499
Cannot print on anything else than A4 format
Last modified: 2008-11-27 23:19:47 UTC
Please describe the problem: I cannot print on 4x6 paper because the selected page setup is not taken into account. Instead, everything is printed in A4 format (which is the default setting of my printer). Steps to reproduce: 1. Page setup, page format = 4x6 in, landscape, no borders -> http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/7484/step1bh6.jpg 2. Print, Preferences -> http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/912/step2rc8.jpg 3. Again, I select 4x6 in, landscape, no borders (although I shouldn't select this again) ->http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/1289/step3gd9.jpg 4. Print Actual results: I still get an A4 page setup (A4 is the default format of my printer) -> http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/9779/step4sm7.jpg Expected results: I would like to get what I actually selected : 4x6 inches paper, no borders. Does this happen every time? Yes :-( Other information: This bug is present in all versions since version 2.4. It was working well with version 2.2. I found it also more logical, because there was only one window for selecting the page setup (window of the printer driver). Thank you for your help, because this bug is VERY annoying. I have to use another software to print my images, this is not convenient at all.
