Documentation
Section: Toolbox
Hi, I have just downloaded Gimp 2.6.0 and got it running on Vista, but the documentation says that the Toolbox should have a menu. My gimp toolbox does not have a menu that should show choices of File, Xtns etc. Are these functions somewhere else now or how do i get the toolbox menu to appear? I want to run DBP (Davids Batch Processor). How to do this? Your help would be appreciated, thanks, Bruce

This is a bug tracking system and not a help system. If you are having problems using GIMP, send a message to the GIMP user mailing list or use the #gimp-users IRC channel.

The documentation you were reading is not up-to-date with recent changes made. I would suggest you read the GIMP 2.6 release notes. The toolbox menubar has been removed and merged with the image window menubar. If you aren't seeing a menu along the top of the image window, right click the image window to access the menu.
