Description Jo-Erlend Schinstad 2008-11-17 03:57:03 UTC
Please describe the problem:
The task preview window, when the description is large enough to give a vertical scrollbar, scrolls the contents to the top every minute.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Make a new task.
2. Add a description with lots of lines.
3. Save and view the description in the preview area. Make sure you get a scrollbar and scroll down.

Actual results:
After some time (at most two minutes), the content is scrolled to the top.

Expected results:
That it didn't.

Does this happen every time?
Yes, every time.

Other information:
I believe this is related to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=509879. The preview area used to be blanked every minute.

I tried to reproduce with 2.25.2 and it works fine, the preview isn't scrolled every minute, even I see the update is done. Maybe other items got completed/changed/added/something in the list of tasks? With received changes to the list, I'm afraid I'm not able to do much.

The preview is a GtkHTML widget. Perhaps the scrolling got fixed in the GtkHtml package recently?

I can confirm that this bug is fixed. Tested both 2.24.3 and 2.25.91.
