Description Michael McGinnis 2008-11-08 13:22:33 UTC
NetworkManager is great for automatically connecting without user input. But what if it doesn't automatically connect? What if it connects to the wrong network? What if I want to remove a network from the list?

It needs an Advanced or Settings tab which users can ordinarily ignore because it works so well. But when there are connection problems, users should be able to use the GUI to manually change the automatically-detected settings.

Right-click on the applet icon, and choose "Edit connections". You can turn autoconnect on/off on a per-connection basis. You can remove connections there as well.

Thanks. I didn't try right-clicking. I'd actually be interested in helping edit the documentation, but I can't find any.
