GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 557992
Page Format is ignored, always DIN A4
Last modified: 2008-10-28 06:47:50 UTC
Please describe the problem: I needed to use a different page format for a PDF file. I used "Page Setup" and "Printer Setup" to set the right page format (a user defined one), but GIMP is always the standard format (which happens to be A4). I thought it could be a bug in PDFCreator so I installed two more PDF-printers including the original one from adobe - all with the same result. Finnaly I'm using a workaround - exporting to JPG and then print the file to PDF Destiller using IrfanView, so it is obviuosly a bug in GIMP. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use "Page Setup" to change the paper format 2. Print the image to a PDF File 3. Open the file with adobe acrobat reader and press Control-D: It will show the wrong page format Actual results: You will see a differnt page format in the pdf-file Expected results: ...see the page format I've choosen in GIMP Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
What operating system are you using?
(In reply to comment #1) > What operating system are you using? Windows Vista. Same problem appears on XP and is independant of the PDF-software I'm using (tried PDFcreator, Adobe Acrobat Pro, PDFbrewer).
