Description Gilbert Mendoza 2008-10-24 21:52:20 UTC
When using the mobile broadband connection assistant, adding any of the CDMA profile entries defined in the list of service providers, the connection entry is mistakenly added as GSM. The latest CDMA providers added to the SVN version of the list includes Verizon and Sprint which are added as CDMA entries in the serviceproviders.xml file [1].

The new "CDMA" connection entries also have the advanced fields only associated with GSM networks... and the default Number is entered as *99#, which should be #777 for CDMA.

Yeah, sounds like a bug. Antti?
Comment 2 Antti Kaijanmäki 2008-10-25 05:26:49 UTC
Yes, this is a bug, probably in mbca parts of Connection Editor.. I have to check and confirm this later. For now the only workaround is to remove all the broken configurations using Connection Editor and to rely on nm-applets "Auto CDMA".

OK. this was a libmbca bug. Fixed now in libmbca SVN trunk:
