Description Nils Pickert 2008-10-23 13:31:51 UTC
When importing/ripping albums with a compilation artist and many individual artists the files get sorted to the individual track artists, thus distributing the album over the whole music file structure. (Setting to copy as Artist/Album/Track uses the track artist, not the compilation artist)

Preferable would be a copying to a directory "Compilation Artist"/Album/Track to have the album still in one directory.

We could add an %album_artist% token configurable in GConf, but what would be really great is to use the %album_artist% when specified or the %artist% if not.

Also in Album Browser the Tracks should be listed under Album Artist. (Most of the time I want to listen to a compilation and not to an single artist.) If the track artist is used it is impossible to select first the artist and second the whole album .
