GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 556542
Documentation on printing needs updating
Last modified: 2012-02-20 14:53:11 UTC
In particular the section on 'Setting the Page Options'. I gather that this is a result of the switch to gtk print. This bug is holding up translation work.
Confirming.
I've been trying to find another app which uses gtk print and has up to date printing documentation - being able to adapt existing documentation would greatly reduce the work involved in fixing this. So far I can't find anything though (most apps don't seem to provide printing documentation).
I've never received any answer to my mail: http://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-doc-list/2008-November/msg00000.html But as stated in the mail, I suggest writing an addition to the GNOME User Guide and then link from the various apps to this section. I've just created a bug in gnome-user-docs about it.
This is now http://library.gnome.org/users/gedit/3.3/gedit-printing.html.en > In particular the section on 'Setting the Page Options'. The section does not exist anymore. Closing as OBSOLETE.
