Description Nicolas 2008-10-09 18:32:35 UTC
On NetworkManager 0.7.0,
on ubuntu 8.10 beta1,

On --each-- startup of the session, the network manager applet opens a popup to tell us that the network is up. It is really really irritating.
Don't let linux become a Windows clone in which windows and popup opens automatically all the time.

If you like this popup, at least, put an option into the right clic menu to disable this feature.

Thank you very much.

ps : except this feature, other new ones are good in my opinion.

What I dislike is that this bubble stays there forever - IMO the bubble should automatically disappear after a while (e.g. 10 seconds), then it would not be so annoying (and would solve this problem for me).
