Description fischi 2008-10-09 13:01:11 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If you have recently opened documents on a nfs server ( I use autofs ) which is currently unavailable evince takes a long time to startup (~30s).

Steps to reproduce:

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
yes.

Other information:
I started evince with strace and it waited for every file on autofs/nfs a few seconds.

I think evince should not sheck those files on startup.
